As we grow older we frequently revise our opinions on just about everything. Fortunately, these revisions provide peace to our lives. Where before there was confusion and turmoil, sometimes even anger, now there is acceptance, understanding and gratitude . Perhaps this is called wisdom. It is a great pity that sometimes this knowledge comes so (relatively) late in life. Sometimes too late to say the unspoken words of love and appreciation to those who have passed on, but not to late for us to enjoy the gifts we have received and to give thanks with every word and deed to those who have given them to us.
